She graduated from Arizona State University and earned her Master’s from Long Beach State University. She has been an educator for almost 25 years and has worked with students and teachers in grades K-12. Her educational experience drives her to want the best for Canyon students and staff. Prior to becoming president, Jennifer served as a Board Member for the Canyon High School Foundation for five years, actively involved in our the largest campaign of renovating our gymnasium. Prior to joining the Foundation, Jennifer was a member of the El Rancho Charter Board and is also actively involved in San Antonio Church and various clubs and sports organizations. Jennifer and her husband David have been actively involved in the Anaheim Hills community volunteering for their three boys Maddox, Class of 2021, Briggs, Class of 2023 and Gannon, Class of 2027. Jennifer helped create our Spirit Store to put the Canyon “C” everywhere in the community and give all students an opportunity to connect to their school and show their Comanche pride. She believes that each child will thrive and flourish at their school when they have a sense of belonging to their school.
Jennifer believes Canyon High School is the center of our community and is the gateway to strengthening our community and launching our students into the world around them. The traditions of Canyon High School are special and our Alumni have made a huge impact after graduation. Honoring the traditions of Canyon’s past, while evolving and becoming a stronger group is a priority of Jennifer’s. She wants all students to find their niche, be able to grow and reach their maximum potential. Jennifer wants to bring the community together to make Canyon one of the most desirable public high school in the area. Canyon is a very special place and she wants everyone to experience Canyon to unlock their inner greatness.
